I imagine this could be considered a true "rags to riches" story, but what probably is a stroke of luck assisted by Youtube and 4chan. Ted Williams the homeless man who first appeared in a YouTube video that went viral in 24 hours seems to have landed a job with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
I first came across Ted two days ago while trolling on /b/ have to admit the man has quite the radio voice, however the man does not possess the power of healing by his voice alone so what makes him special and the countless others who are actually going to broadcast school not?? The answer after the break.
NOTHING!!! That's right not a damn thing, fact is he is homeless and less fortunate than the rest of us which makes his story along with others less fortunate more alluring to the rest of us. Some individuals with free time on there hand made a video then decided to post it on YouTube not with the intent on making the man a viral video star but to likely just to share what they thought was cool.
Enter 4Chan and other internet sites that noticed this video and within 24 hours the views jumped by the minute. Ted Williams was once a homeless man, unemployed and probably having a hard time finding a meal now finds himself working for the "Cavs". Hopefully he can feed his family and make a better life for himself and his children now.
Ted Williams accomplished over the course of 72 hours what students spending years in college may never accomplish in their life. I am not saying Ted did not deserve this but at the very least he needs to take this and make the best of it, and at the very least record something for Moot and the rest of the /b/ nation out there thanking them for the mass "bump"
